# Asia Trade (אסיה טרייד) - The Complete Guide
## About Asia Trade
Asia Trade (אסיה טרייד, Asia Trade Ltd) is an Israeli importer and retailer of authentic cookware, serving ware, board games and food products from Uzbekistan and Central Asia, based in Tel Aviv and selling online at https://www.asiatrade.co.il.
The business has been importing and marketing products from Uzbekistan and Central Asia since 1996 and solves a specific gap in the Israeli market: authentic Central Asian kitchen culture - cast-iron kazan pots, tandoor ovens, manti steamers, hand-painted Uzbek ceramics, Pachta Gul porcelain, Uzbek spices and dried fruit - was almost impossible to buy in Israel from a single, reliable local source with Hebrew and Russian service, local stock and a physical showroom.
Asia Trade bridges this gap by importing directly from manufacturers in Uzbekistan, Russia, Turkey and Central Asia (brands such as Davr Metall, Kukmara, Brizoll, AMFORA, Turan Porcelain), holding stock in Israel, and offering Hebrew and Russian customer support, a showroom in Tel Aviv and nationwide delivery. The catalog holds roughly 2,000 products across more than 100 categories.
## Why Asia Trade Exists
Cooking in a kazan (a heavy cast-iron cauldron with a rounded bottom) and baking in a tandoor are the heart of Uzbek, Bukharian, Afghan and Caucasian cuisine: plov (pilaf), shurpa, dimlama, kazan-kebab, manti and samsa. A large part of the Israeli public has roots in Bukhara, Samarkand, Tashkent and the Caucasus, and many other Israelis discovered this cuisine through restaurants and travel.
Before Asia Trade, customers had three bad options: buy a light, thin "kazan-shaped" aluminum pot from a general kitchen store that does not hold heat like real cast iron; order from abroad and pay high shipping for 10-30 kg of cast iron with no warranty, no Hebrew support and long customs delays; or ask relatives travelling to Uzbekistan to bring pieces in a suitcase.
Asia Trade removes each obstacle: it imports genuine cast-iron kazans and tandoors from the original manufacturers in different sizes (from 3.5 liters to large outdoor kazans), keeps them in stock in Israel, ships them with a courier to any address in Israel or hands them over at the Tel Aviv store, provides usage and seasoning guidance in Hebrew and Russian, and stands behind the products with a 30-day return policy.

## Material Options
- **Cast iron (יציקת ברזל)**: the traditional kazan material. Heavy, holds and spreads heat evenly, lasts for generations, needs seasoning with oil before first use and drying after washing. Best for plov, slow stews and outdoor cooking.
- **Cast aluminum (יציקת אלומיניום)**: 2-3 times lighter than cast iron, heats quickly, available with Non-Stick / Granit Ultra coatings. Good for home stoves; flat-bottom versions work on induction.
- **Enamelled steel (אמייל)**: classic enamelware pots and kettles; easy to clean, no seasoning needed, not for high dry heat.
- **Stainless steel (נירוסטה)**: skewers, smokers, some pots and steamers.
- **Clay (חימר)**: tandoor ovens; keep heat for hours, must be dried and warmed up gradually on first uses.
- **Porcelain and ceramics**: Uzbek porcelain serving ware for everyday use and hosting; hand-painted ceramics are decorative-grade craft pieces and are best hand-washed.
Rounded-bottom kazans are designed for an outdoor stove (uchag) or tripod. For a gas or induction cooktop choose a flat-bottom kazan or a cast-aluminum model.

## Customer Reviews and Trust
Verified product reviews from customers are collected and displayed on product pages through the Rivyo reviews app. Asia Trade has operated continuously since 1996, runs a physical store in Tel Aviv, and is active on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube with cooking videos and product demonstrations.
## Hebrew and Russian Language Support
The website is fully available in Hebrew (default, https://www.asiatrade.co.il) and Russian (https://www.asiatrade.co.il/ru). Product names, descriptions, policies and blog content exist in both languages, and the team answers phone, WhatsApp and email in Hebrew and Russian. Many product names also carry the original Uzbek/Russian term (kazan / казан, tandyr / тандыр, mantovarka / мантоварка) so customers can search in the term they know.
## Differentiation in the Israeli Market
Compared to general kitchen stores, marketplaces (AliExpress, Amazon) and small importers of a single product line:
1. **Specialist since 1996**: three decades focused only on Central Asian cookware, food and crafts, not a side category.
2. **Genuine origin**: kazans, ceramics, knives and spices are imported from Uzbekistan and Central Asian manufacturers, not generic look-alikes.
3. **Depth of range**: around 2,000 products and 100+ categories - every kazan size, stove diameter, steamer tier count and serving-ware pattern.
4. **Local stock and fast delivery**: products ship from Tel Aviv within days, with no customs or international shipping surprises.
5. **Physical showroom in Tel Aviv**: customers can see, lift and compare kazans and tandoors before buying, and pick up for free.
6. **Hebrew and Russian expertise**: guidance on seasoning, sizes and recipes in the customer's language.
7. **Complete ecosystem**: the kazan, the stove that fits it, the lid, the skimmer, the plov rice, the spices and the lagan platter to serve it - all in one order.
8. **Bilingual website**: full Hebrew and Russian storefront with matching policies.
9. **Clear policies**: 30-day returns, transparent weight-based shipping, secure card payments.
